Coinciding with the last Spanish Constitution holiday RE-CORTA, Demolición Técnica has moved five employees to participate in the slab’s recess works for recovery of the railway’s geometric parameters in the # 1 LA Encina tunnel within the railway line which goes from Madrid to Valencia and Alicante.

Consolidación de Terrenos, S.A., CONTESA, awarded the contract, has entrusted the execution of the project regarding sawing jobs to RE-CORTA, which has moved several wall sawing & floor sawing equipments to the area. It was a challenge against the clock, as the traffic on the affected line would be paralysed until the completion of the work. With an effective duration of three days, 200 m2 section sawing disc have been made, a fact that reveals the amazing efficiency of RE-CORTA operators.

The work was carried out on the even railway, in a stretch of 200 meters, situated approximately at the midpoint of the tunnel, its total length being more than 2 km.
