RE-CORTA, Demolición Técnica, S.L. ends 2012 with performances for two newly established industries, whose facilities are situated in the industrial area of Penapurreira, in the town of As Pontes Coruña.

At the request of the As Somozas’ company HUSO 29, RE-CORTA employees have travelled to factories that BIOMASA FORESTAL, S.L. and DAXIONG SPAIN, S.L. have in the north of Galicia, to perform concrete sawing work with diamond tools. In global work, wall sawing equipments, wire sawing equipment and core drills have been used.

BIOMASA FORESTAL, S.L., was founded with the purpose of valuing forest residues for the production of pellets. The project has strong support from the regional administration through participation in the shareholding of the company by the INEGA (Galician Energetic Institute) and through FEDER funds managed by IGAPE (Galician Institute for Economic Promotion). BMF has an annual production capacity of 60,000 t / year of forest waste.

The company DAXIONG SPAIN, S.L., from the Tianjin (China), is building a factory in As Pontes dedicated to the production of steel cord for prestressed concrete structures. Initially it will produce a quantity of finished product being between 50,000 and 60,000 tonnes, although it is expected that eventually it may reach 200,000 tons. The production will be exported to the international market through the port of Ferrol.
