RE-CORTA, Demolición Técnica, S.L. continues present in the works of the high speed line (LAV) Madrid – Galicia, this time in the Zamora stretch- Lubián, and more specifically in the subsection La Hiniesta – Perilla de Castro.

This time the international group of concessions and construction Obrascon Huarte Lain (OHL), who has contracted RE-CORTA to decapitate reinforced concrete piles using hydraulic breakers.

The decapitated work is underway in several phases, being decisive for the client’s ability to respond immediately and obtain optimal performance in the work, because they are on a strict timetable for implementation. The subsection’s layout La Hiniesta-Perilla de Castro runs along the municipalities of La Hiniesta, Cubillos, Montamarta, San Cebrian de Castro y Perilla de Castro, all part of Zamora’s province.

The project calls for the construction of 20.33 km of new railway platform, which includes a viaduct over the Ricobayo’s reservoir, eight overpasses, nine below, two pergolas on the N-630 and two wildlife crossings. Further, Montamarta’s Railroad switch, with a length of 1510 meters, may be mentioned as the singular stretch rail element. The work has been awarded 46,29 million euros.
